More pics!

Not much time to write a lot. So post a few pics here... here is a play mat with a zoo theme (gift from our friends) which Shannyn lies when she is awake. This is a very interesting mat as there is a green board at the side which makes cute animal sounds if baby kicks it. But Shannyn doesn't seem to know how to appreciate it though as you can see her dozing off despite the colourful animals hanging above her! Sometimes she cries whenever we lie her down and wants us to carry her instead.

Shannyn has this habit of peeing whenever we change her nappy. Maybe anxious or cold? And as a result, we have to change her clothes, mittens and socks as they are all wet! And sometimes she poo during nappy change and we have to bathe her immediately as its really smelly. Cross our fingers that she don't do that in the middle of the night. There was once Mom was bathing her and she peed on mom!! There was another time she exploded as mom was removing her clothes for bathe and mom's pants are full of shit! Haa!! No wonder mom keep complaining that she does not have enough pants to wear.. thanks to Shannyn!

We brought her to the nurse for checking and she is now 4.5kg, almost the weight of a bag of rice! That's heavy!

Now my life evolves around the little baby and sometimes I do freak out a little.. like this morning, she peed during nappy change. However, she was smiling happily after the 'good deed' and it was rather 'scary'. It was as if she was trying to 'sabotage' and making a mess out of everything. There is this Chinese saying that 'kids are people whom we are debted to in our previous lives' and I am beginning to wonder if its true. Yesterday, Sean said that I have made the bed nicely but the quilt blanket was obviously upside down (flowers embroidery should be at the bottom half)! Obviously, my world has 'turned upside down' with a new baby and am seeing things with rose-tinted glasses now! Haaha!
