Mount Hotham - Day 2

The next day, I went to play toboggan with Shannyn for most of the day.

The toboggan area was rather small and not steep. I reckon it is catered mainly for kids up to six years old.

All ready to set off into the snow!!!

Shannyn dragging her toboggan.

On the second night, we decided to venture out for dinner at the Mt Hotham Village.

Fish and chips for Shannyn.

She loves it!! So do we!

She fell asleep at the restaurant after having one piece of fish and some chips. We continued eating.

Lamb Pizza!! Yummy!

Mount Hotham - Day 1

This is the first time we visit Mt Hotham.

MOUNT HOTHAM - 8 hours drive from home.

Mt Hotham has one of the best snow mountain view. It is higher than Mt Baw Baw and Mt Buller. I remember feeling nauseous travelling up and down Mt Baw Baw. The road condition is much better at Mt Hotham. It is much more gradual and gentler.

Nearly there!!

We see the snow cap!!!

Almost there. We can see snow on the side of the road.

More snow. The sky is getting dark too.

Long and windy road, with snow on both sides of the road.

We see ski lift chairs above us!!

More lift chairs on the left above us!

Interesting feature of Mt Hotham is this tunnel. Once we pass the tunnel, we see the Mt Hotham Village Central.

We have reached Mt Hotham!

Inside the house. It is call "Lawlers 5", which accomodates ten people.

Sun set view from the house.

Living room.

The sun has set. Is that the moon at the side?

This is our room. There is one double bed and a single bed, perfect for the three of us.

There is also a tv in the room!!
