New Vacuum Cleaner!!

We bought a new Hoover vacuum cleaner!! It is the most expensive vacuum cleaner we have ever purchased. At AUD699, it better do its job!

When we reached the store, Godfreys (huge store famous for selling cleaning gadgets in Australia), an Indian guy approached us. We were invited to sit down while he demonstrated the product to us. He grabbed a bucket of sand and poured in on a carpet. Then he started to vacuum using a huge commercial vacuum cleaner. Those big big ones with big suctions connections. While vacuuming, he asked us to stop once we are happy with the results. After a minute or two, we said "OK, that's fine" and he stopped. Then he picked up the Hoover vacuum, emptied the dust container inside and continued to vacuum the same carpet! And I can't believe my eyes! And we thought it was already spotless! Oh my god, the vacuum cleaner managed to pick up half a container of sand! I was convinced on the spot!!

Of course, as Sporeans, we had to get a good deal right? We had to bargain. We got two more freebies with the purchase, a carpet wash cleaner (big standing kind worth AUD219!!!) and a bottle of stain remover/cleaner (worth AUD10)!!!

We tried the new vacuum cleaner immediately once we reached home and the amount of dust it picked up was worth a whole year of vacuum cleaning with our old machine!! All right, I'm exaggerating here but it was really incredible!! I always thought my house was very 'clean' until now! Seeing is believing!!

And folks, steam cleaning is no use.... tell you more next time!

ABove: Best "investment" of the year!! The super doper Hoover vaccuum cleaner!!

Asking ppl to sit, while he demonstrate is a good idea! The potential to walk away is greater, if one is standing.

And wow, the machine looks like it can vacuum and make coffee at the same time!

Bro: Yeah, the brush-head looks pretty cool!!

Elin: Wa, is it the iRobot vacuum cleaner? Those are ok for hard floors but not for carpets... those can be quite ex too.

Irene: Yeah, I heard Sean mention about the famous rainbow before! My MIL had one too. Yes, this suck out the dustmites, hair, sand and has a HEPA filter too. It is bagless too. Just need to open the container and empty it. It is to be used dry, not water-based. We got a freebie that is a stand alone carpet cleaner and that gadget can be used to wash the carpet. The carpet seems much brigher and more fluffy after use too! Haha!!

Hehe... ya... actually we also skimped on the previous one. It finally broke down after 2 years of usage. Vacuuming was a nightmare as it had difficulty picking up even hairs on the carpet!

This current one has got the power brush head that can help release dirt and dust on carpet.
