Brought Shannyn for her 2-mth immunization shots yesterday. She was supposed to go on the first day of Chinese New Year but had decided to postpone it. As we went to the City Council for the vaccines, we saw a lot of babies there who were also q-ing for their turn. After an hour of waiting time, its finally her turn. On entering the room, we suddenly felt nervous. We were more anxious than Shannyn as apparently, she did not know what she was in for. She had 2 shots on her left thigh and one shot on her right against Hep B/Pneumoccocol disease/Polio. There was also an immunization by mouth against rotavirus. First, the nurse gave her the medication by mouth and she was a little fussy. Sean carried her very tight and close during the shots. She was very brave and did not cry on the first shot. But on the second shot, she started to cry. And by the third shot, she started to scream and cry non-stop. Our hearts melted. When we exit the room and went into the waiting hall, I saw a lot of parents and babies staring at us with their eyes wide open. Guess Shannyn's cries have made a loud statement!
